Greece is heading for a new record year in tourism in 2024. The current trajectory of airline reservations indicates a potential tourism surge of up to 10 percent (10%) in 2024 compared to the remarkable highs achieved in 2023. Because of the high season anticipated demand for hotel rooms in July, we strongly encourage you to book your hotel rooms as early as possible to ensure availability and secure your stay.
ISIT 2024 Organizing Committee has secured a very limited number of rooms for the conference period at our conference venue, the Athenaeum InterContinental Athens. A short description of our venue is in the “Venue” tab of our website.

Our conference venue will offer rooms at special rates to ISIT participants until the cutoff date of June 10th, and until the room block allocated for our conference is sold out (whichever comes first). After June 10, any unsold rooms will be released, and rooms will become available on request basis at the same special ISIT rates.

A minimum of 4 overnights reservation is required by the hotel.
- Single Classic Room on Bed & Breakfast Basis: €190
- Double Classic Room on Bed & Breakfast Basis: €200
- Single Classic with Club Access: € 270
- Double Classic with Club Access: € 280
- Single One Bedroom Suite: € 350
- Double One Bedroom Suite: € 360
Climate Crisis Resilience tax is a fixed fee for 5-star hotels at €10 per room per night and will be charged separately upon check out.

Payment policy
The Hotel requires the guests’ credit card upon making the reservation, to guarantee space.
On cutoff date, June 11th, 2024, the Hotel will charge the full stay on participants credit cards
Climate Crisis Resilience fee and incidental charges will be paid upon check out.
Cancellation policy
- There will be no cancellation fee for rooms released up to June 10th, 2024. For later cancellations, deposits will be non-refundable.
- Cancellations that will be received from June 11th, 2024 and up to the date of arrival, including Non-Shows or/and any early departures, will be charged in full.
Children/ extra person policy
Complimentary accommodation is offered to children less than 17 years of age provided that they share a room with an adult. Breakfast is to be paid as follows:
0 - 6 years of age: Complimentary
7 - 12 years of age: 50% Discount (€ 8)
13 - 17 years of age: No Discount (€16)
18 + years of age: charges as per triple room
